Our Principal
Vicki is in her 28th year in education, and her 19th year serving as Principal at Lincoln High School. Prior to moving to Colorado from Pennsylvania, she served as an alternative education teacher at Dover High School in a school within a school model. In this role, she taught all core classes, grades 9 through 12. Alternative education has always been Vicki’s passion, starting her teaching career at New Castle Youth Development Center where she also did her student teaching. In addition to being an educator, Vicki has also served as a treatment counselor for adjudicated youth with drug and alcohol issues, a caseworker for specialized foster care, and as a school-based therapist.
Vicki’s heart has always been to help kids find their voice and to know that their story is heard and matters! She wants every kid with whom she works with, to know they are loved and that getting their education is ultimately the key to their future.
Outside of school, she is an avid reader, a bird watcher (especially birds of prey), and a doodler (along with other crafty things). It is also a common occurrence for her to hop in her car, Duncan, and adventure…for those that adventure, find the most amazing things!
